          to D.C. CIVIL WAR SITES

The Virginia-Maryland-DC area is unarguably a
treasure-trove of Civil War history. Although most Civil War
enthusiasts who have lived here for some time probably know every
nook and cranny of CW-related turf, there are those of us who have
yet to discover many of the out-of-the-way sites scattered around
      the area.
This page introduces as many of these sites as I can find - it is
a work-in-progress. And since they are local to DC and the
surrounding area, it doesn't take long to drive out and visit
      them.
If you have any places of interest you'd like to offer, please
      email the WebMaster.
Even if it's just an address or a website, the information is
welcome and will be posted. Someday I might even get around to
      posting a map as well!
