The BRCWRT supports the preservation efforts of many groups throughout Virginia. This section
highlights many of the current projects in our immediate area. We attempt to present accurate,
factual materials, keeping the impact to the battlefield as our central focus.

The monument was being cleaned but
the machinery resembles the equipment used by
developers. It looks as if the soldier's
battle continues, only this time
against encroaching battlefield development!
Taken out of context, it makes a great
Preservation Theme.
